Big Greek Gyros & Bakery in Dunedin, FL comes to us by owner and chef Demetrios Stylianos. Having spent most of his youth in Andros, Greece, Demetrios brings his knowledge and passion for traditional greek cooking. You can rest assured your order is fresh as most everything Demetrios serves is made from scratch. From the marinades and seasonings, to fresh bread on Saturdays you can taste the difference of a chef that cares about the quality of their product.

The fresh and from scratch theme continues through to the house made salads and dressings, soups, tzatziki, potato salad and the list continues. While this Dunedin restaurant is an excellent stop for your lunch or dinner meal their desserts are arguably more impressive.

Naturally at Demetrios’ Big Greek Gyros & Bakery, the deserts are made from scratch and in house. While this isn’t necessarily the place to get your specialty designed cake, as Demetrios rarely prepares special orders, it’s actually better that way. Demetrious has over 40 years of professional baking experience. Essentially dedicating his life to the trade. Simply put, this is where you go for a delicious, fresh slice of your favorite cake. Not the supermarket, no more questions needed.

Currently they’re predominantly set up for to-go/pickup orders but there are a few tables to have your meal there. Demetrious also provides catering orders for the local area including Dunedin, Clearwater, Palm Harbor & more (call for availability).

Hours of operation are currently 11am-8pm Monday-Saturday, closed on Sundays.
